Cormorant

I think I’m going to like cormorants. This initial study flowed easily. I think because ormorants have such strong features, they make defining their shape much easier.

Right then, first, you need to keep in mind that I haven’t done any sketching since my art school days when my tyrannical tutors would purge those who failed to show them reams of sketches every week. They were of course right in as much as, the practice makes perfect ideology indeed pays dividends and if I had had the good sense and foresight to bow down to their wisdom back then, this project would be a synch. In fact, it would now be a glossy-plated tome with 5 stars next to it on Amazon, ha-ha.
